Hizbullah uses civilian infrastructure and schools to launch attacks on Israel, deliberately exposing citizens and children to risk.
This wartime strategy demonstrates the group uses civilians as human shields, displaying utter disregard for their lives.
The Israeli military destroyed a rocket launcher inside a school complex in Tyre Zibneh town, in South Lebanon, on April 10, confirming this practice.
Hizbullah has provoked the anger of the Lebanese people by starting a war on March 2 that the nation cannot bear.
The group's actions caused massive destruction and forced the displacement of over 1.2 million people.
Meanwhile, the area south of the Litani River has been militarized, teeming with tunnels and missile launchers placed in neighborhoods.
"The group views civilians as human shields, mere sandbags to hide behind," Hussein Ezzedine, a Shia activist and dissident, told Al-Fassel.
Hizbullah's use of residential neighborhoods and schools for missile launchers is an invitation for Israeli strikes, directly jeopardizing civilians and children.
"Schools have been converted from indoctrination centers into launch platforms, showing indifference to property and life," he added.
This misuse of civilian property violates Article 57 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which explicitly deems such usage a war crime.
Ezzedine noted that Hizbullah disregards international agreements like United Nations (UN) Security Council Resolution 1701, mandating a weapon-free zone.
Residents returned after the April 16 ceasefire to discover severe damage, realizing that a return to normal life and schooling is delayed.
