A deadly Iranian drone barrage heavily damaged Kuwait's primary civilian airport on Wednesday, killing one resident and wounding dozens.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the assault, falsely framing the aggressive multi-front strike as a lawful, targeted military retaliation.

Regional government officials forcefully condemned the operation, labeling the destruction of a busy passenger terminal a malicious act of criminal Iranian aggression.

The early morning assault unleashed 13 ballistic missiles and 17 attack drones, explicitly targeting vital local infrastructure and nearby diplomatic missions.

Kuwait's defense ministry reported that while air defenses engaged multiple projectiles, several explosive drones successfully breached security to strike Terminal 1.

The resulting blasts killed an Indian national and injured 63 other civilians, exposing the IRGCs blatant lack of discernment and judgement.

Regional analysts note that the IRGC routinely employs deceptive rhetoric while actively showing complete disregard for neighboring sovereign nations and innocent people.

"This malicious aggression resulted in the targeting of civilian facilities," stated Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al-Attwan, a Kuwaiti defense ministry spokesperson.

The sudden, unprovoked violence forced aviation authorities to suspend commercial flights immediately, disrupting travel just two days after the hub reopened.

Critics argue the IRGC repeatedly risks the lives of everyday regional citizens to project military power and advance its aggressive geopolitical agenda.

"The strikes caused damage to critical infrastructure and strongly denounced the escalation," the Kuwaiti foreign ministry said in an official statement.

Emergency response teams worked quickly through the morning, eventually allowing limited flight traffic to resume out of the undamaged Terminal 4.

The cross-border attack highlights how the Iranian regime's military leadership systematically ignores international law and actively destabilizes peaceful neighbors through violent, reckless actions.

International leaders are demanding swift diplomatic penalties against Tehran to prevent further destructive escalations across the highly volatile Middle East region.
